Tamasha hili liliweza kuhudhuriwa na watu zaidi ya 900 siku hiyo

Yesterday I saw a link in my whats app group that directed me to this video which i have posted it. Its called "televangelist: Last week tonight with john Oliver (HBO)" . Its about these evangelist who preach the word of God thorough Television, I have seen a lot of them in Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) and we have a lot of them here in Tanzania and in our neighboring countries . This video is supposed to be funny and hilarious, which it is, no need to deny that but it got me thinking and feeling sad for all those people who got swindled thinking they are giving their offering to God. On another thought we all do give offering to our churches. And in my church at least there is a annual congregational meeting to discuss developmental activities in our church and all collection report for the year and how it was spent, and i am glad for that transparency, When you think dipper into this issue is a bit hard to decipher since is more of faith than accountability.
How about other churches that do not have that accountability at all to their congregation. How about those people who donate to these churches, who are made venerable by their circumstance, either Poverty or health issues. The prosperity gospel is what these preacher preach these days, and they had chosen their niche very well since majority of Tanzania and other East African Country live under $1 a day, People have been asked to plant seeds in terms of Money, the size of their seed will determine the size of your harvest. To them Wealth is a sign of God's favor.
How do we help people who have fallen prey to these evangelist, and how do we help each other not to fall as their prey. I do not have answers to these questions. What i have noted is that in serving God and others, the holy scriptures says "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself"-Luke 10:27. I believe when it comes to issue concerning God, we only use our heart, we don't use our mind, strength and the soul to do it, we fail to make the preacher accountable if he misdirect us, we don't rebuke, we just keep silent and we move on and let others fall into their prey or Either we believe in them so much that we think they cant make mistake, and if you doubt them you might be at fault and its a sinful act to doubt them. We hold them at such highest moral standards and holiness.
If the church aims is to spread the Gospel and to let Gods words be know to his children, as directed by Jesus in Mathew 28:19-20 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” and in Mark 16:15 "He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Its notable from these verse that the offering or donation given to the church should be directed at these activities such as spreading the good news, and this task is not for evangelist alone but all christian have been given this task. also in James 1:27 says"Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world." and in James:2:14:17 What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." also a church has a task of remembering the needy people, Orphans and widow
Lastly, Jesus didn't concentrate much on material things, If we recognize that we are not here to stay for long and that we shouldn't let our body drives us and its desire hold the upper hand in the way we decide about our course of action in life but to let our spirit leads us in the way we decide on things here on earth.

Nawasalimu katika Jina la Yesu, Bwana na mwokozi wa maisha yetu, Neema ya Mungu na Upendo wake Uwe nanyi daima,
Kuelekea katika Tamasha la Vijana, KKKT-DMP Usharika wa Kiluvya, ambalo linatarajia kufanyika tarehe 28/4/2017 lenye ujumbe mkuu " Find Your Purpose " likimaanisha tafuta KUSUDI la maisha yako, Umoja wa vijana kiluvya unapenda kuwaalika walengwa wote wa tamasha hilo kuhudhuria bila kukosa.
Mara nyingi hili swali la kujua kusudi ya maisha yako huwa linawatatiza wengi, na vitabu vingi vimeandika kwa ajili ya kutoa majibu ya hili swali, "nini kusudi la maisha yangu?". Na mara nyingi tunajiuliza maswali mengi kibinafsi kama Je nataka kuwa nani, nifanye nini na maisha yangu? Malengo yangu ni Yapi?
"Kwa kua katika yeye vitu vyote viliumbwa vilivyo mbinguni na vilivyo juu ya nchi, Vinavyoonekana na visivyoonekana, ikiwa ni vitu vya enzi au usultani au enzi, au mamlaka;vitu vyote viliumbwa kwa njia yake, na KWA AJILI YAKE"(Wakolosai 1:16) Hivyo basi kusudi lako katika maisha linaanza na Mungu.
Napenda kuwakaribisha katika Mkesha huu Mkubwa wa kumsifu na kumwabudu Mungu, kwa kutambua kwamba tumeumbwa kwa ajili yake na kusudi la maisha yetu linaanza na Yeye.
Post hii imetambulishwa kama utangulizi kutokana na video na link zilizowekwa ambazo zote zinakupa nyimbo zilizoimbwa na kwaya ya vijana KKKT kiluvya. Wengi wa vijana hao wapo pia katika Umoja wa Vijana wa Usharika wa Kiluvya.
Post hii, itakupa fursa ya kuwafahamu kwa sura wengi wa vijana hao wanaojitoa kwa ajili ya kanisa kwenye shughuli mbalimbali hasa Uinjilisti kwa njia ya Uimbaji.
